| Beautiful collector plate with a picture of John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy (later to be Jacqueline Onassis). No identifying marks, but I believe that the plate is contemporary with the time Kennedy was President, not something made after the assassination. Plate reads simply President and Mrs. John F. Kennedy. Measures approximately 9 inches in diameter. Nice gold trim band, accurate likeness of the Kennedy couple. This interesting item was purchased at auction from the estate of a devoted plate collector in the lovely little town of Pembroke in the New River Valley of Southwestern Virginia. |
