Joseph Wiesner Deco Style Blue and Clear Necklace

Not much is known about this designer/manufacturer, but the jewelry they produced is always high quality and gorgeous, making frequent use of this particular color of blue stones. Center stone on this piece shows some slight darkening and looks a bit dull, which is odd since the foil appears to be pretty much intact, but the photo really exagerates this condition. Some extremely light peppering under some of the other large stones can be seen with close examination under magnification, but this is still a stunningly beautiful (and hard to find) vintage item. Minor plating wear on the back of the central motif. Marked: Joseph Wiesner N.Y. on applied oval plaque. Choker length at approx 16".
