| This little gem just about jumped into my hands when I saw it. Edged and crowned with clear baguette rhinestones and filled with 14 oval immitation ruby unfoiled stones that sparkle like mad. Beautifully cast and plated, probably rhodium plated, with the thin clip popular in continental Europe. No markings to indicate maker, material or place of origin, but we think it's probably French. Not a huge piece at approximately 1 1/4" x 1 3/8", but with ten foot tall presence! Please note: Our camera is funny sometimes about red tones and this item appears more orange on my monitor than it does in real life. Stones resemble rubies more closely than garnets. |
