Extremely Interesting Stone Fish Pin |

| We think this is soapstone, but are not absolutely certain, so if anyone has any thoughts on that, we'd love to hear them. Stone has a slightly greenish hue. The pin back is also of a type I've never seen before. I'm tempted to say this may be from some northwestern native American maker, but there are no marks of any kind that I can find. Approx. 2 1/2 inches x 3/4 inch at the widest point. Definitely a conversation starter! |
