| Three Piece German Jasper Ware Moriage Type Tea Set White on Green. Teapot, Creamer, Sugar. Teapot is marked 1641, creamer or milk jug 1642, and sugar bowl 1643 - probably mold or shape numbers. No other markings. Sugar has a 1/2" glazed over clay artifact (lump) in bottom. Also some staining to the sugar bowl as shown in photo - unsure how permanent this is, but the other side looks fine. Small deformity and glaze "miss" on rim of sugar bowl (looks like a chip in the photo, but is not.)Teapot lid has a small rather badly replaced chip and another very odd repair - entire lip on underside has been glued back on! Far from perfect, but a lovely display item! |
