| What a beautiful decorative collectible! When I first saw this lovely thing I thought it was milk glass, but it's actually Lefton china! Base and lid are both ribbed, with a slight twist. Lid or cover is decorated with 9 delicate roses with individually formed petals and leaves that have no chips or breaks that I can find. Some kind of slight yellow staining around the outside of the top rim of the bowl itself - not sure what this is and we haven't tried to clean it off, but this is not visible from a normal viewing angle. Marked with a red Lefton's sticker that reads Lefton's, Reg U.S. Pat. Off., Exclusives, Japan. Also marked with a stamped number in black that appears to be 1395W as best we can tell. |
