Georg Jensen USA Alphonse La Paglia Antique Sterling Silver Brooch. I have seen this described both as a stylized tulip and also as a bellflower design. One of the most elegant pieces of sterling silver jewelry to ever pass through my hands, this Jensen USA piece is in excellent condition with a very nice patina. Believed to be circa 1940. Fully marked on the reverse with the interlocking G and J, Georg Jensen Inc. USA. L.P. Sterling 145. (ref. Jensen Silver by Schiffer and Drucker) Measures about 1 3/4" by 1 1/4"
