Occupied Japan Cup and Saucer - Doulton's Art Deco Shape!

This is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen in the area of china collecting! This Occupied Japan cup and saucer is absolutely identical in shape and size to the Royal Doulton fairy shape art deco cups and saucers! I've even held them together, rim to rim, and they are exactly the same diameter. Typical mediocre quality for this type of ware, nothing at all like the Doulton pieces, having a few of the typical black spots and glaze pops. Small floral transfer is pretty, but rather unimpressive. But if you collect Occupied Japan pieces or Doulton art deco tea ware, you've GOT to add this to your collection!
